Barnard Greenworks is run by Matt, a young gardener based in Penistone who looks after lawns, hedges and borders across Penistone, Crow Edge and the surrounding areas. His own description of the business is short and to the point: reliable and affordable garden maintenance.
What he does
The list is his own: lawn mowing, hedge cutting, strimming, pruning, leaf clearing and regular garden care. He also takes on one-off tidy-ups for gardens that have got overgrown, as several of his Facebook recommendations describe. A local gardener for a Pennine patch
Penistone and Crow Edge sit up on the edge of the Pennines, among stone-built houses, walled gardens and hedged boundaries, where the weather has a big say in when the grass grows. It's Matt's home patch, and the gardens he looks after are on his doorstep.
